David is an experienced manager and coach who has helped improve the performance of hundreds of managers and dozens of organisations over many years. David spent his first career in The Parachute Regiment before progressing into business majoring in management development. Initially he worked with Cable and Wireless before joining the leadership development consultancy Academee, which was later bought by Mercer. Over the last 10 years he has developed senior managers and executives in a multitude of organisations including Transport, Engineering, Construction, Manufacturing, Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecommunications, Defence, Government and Not-for-profit sectors.
David’s approach to coaching is fluid and flexible, appreciating the unique attributes and requirements of each individual client and altering his approach to meet and deliver the requirements appropriately. He has an excellent track record in drawing out the best of people, working and shaping that to support their individual development objectives. He is known for his ability to provide tough challenge and feedback that can often lead to breakthroughs in perspectives and new approaches towards development goals.
With and MA in Management and Organisational Learning (Lancaster University), a Diploma in Executive Coaching (AOEC), and a Certificate in Team Coaching (AOEC), David is now focussing on writing his first book about Extra-dependent teams.
